Today (June 1st), Rachael Does Design turns three, I couldn’t be more excited. It’s been an incredible journey filled with creativity, growth, and amazing collaborations. I want to mark the occasion to look back on so what better way to do it that a blog post! Let's celebrate this milestone together!
Thank You to My Clients - First and foremost, a massive THANK YOU to all my incredible clients. Your trust and support have been the driving force behind the business still being here. From stunning brand transformations, bold website designs and designer for a day bookings, working with you has been an absolute joy. You are the reason I continue to grow, and I couldn’t have done it without you.
Reflecting on the Journey - When I started Rachael Does Design, my vision was simple: to shake things up for entrepreneurs with bold and effective branding. Over the past three years, I have definitely found my feet in doing that for you. I've had the honour of working on over 50 projects, launched countless brands, and made some gorgeous meaningful connections. Of course, it hasn't always been smooth sailing—remember the first half term when my little one started school? I had a meltdown about not being able to balance work and mum life. But once the first half term had passed, I turned the business on its head with the help of my business consultant and now only work school hours...something I never thought would be possible. You don't have to run your business like the online gurus tell you—you get to run it your way.
Learnings and Musings - I've learned so much. One key lesson? Your business gets to run your way. Every single project teaches me something new, and sometimes that means updating a contract. It’s not always smooth sailing. I now confidently say no to businesses that do not align with my values or skill set and happily recommend my network of entrepreneurs. Helping over 50 businesses build brands and websites that convert browsers into clients and giving them the confidence to show up in their power has been incredibly rewarding. I can't wait to help more.
Looking Ahead - What’s next for Rachael Does Design? I can not say that I have huge exciting plans in the pipeline - more of the same over here, (did I mention that I run this business my way 😂)! I’m gearing up to launch new projects that I have been working on, and I can’t wait to share them with you. My goal is to continue pushing boundaries, creating unforgettable brands, and helping you achieve your dreams.
